Stevenson Students Receive National Recognition at the Phi Beta Lambda National Leadership Conference

Eight Stevenson University students and their faculty advisor recently returned from the Phi Beta Lambda National Leadership Conference where they earned a variety of national awards. The 2009 conference…entitled “Get the Edge”…was held in Anaheim, California.
Ashley Williams, a Business Administration major (Class of 2010), won a national trophy for her successful competition in the International Business category.
Assistant Professor Romas A. Laskauskas was honored as Advisor of the Year from the State of Maryland.
Heidi Perry, an Accounting major (Class of 2010), was inducted into the National Who’s Who in Phi Beta Lambda.
The Stevenson University PBL Chapter, the largest in the State of Maryland, received the Gold Seal Chapter Award of Merit in national recognition of active participation in programs and projects advancing the goals of PBL.
